Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and his MBA from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Michael received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law graduating cum laude.  While in law school Michael was a Constitutional law research assistant for Professor Scott Dodson.  He was awarded the Distinguished Student Scholarship in 2019 and the William Randolph Hearst Foundation Scholarship in 2020.
